Youth Program

About the Program

The Youth Program is an outgrowth of the Parish Partnership Program. It is an opportunity for parish youth to focus their efforts and concern to help mission areas of the United States where resources are scarce and the Church is struggling to survive.

The Parish Partnership Youth Program also provides a unique educational opportunity for youth to learn about the geography and history of a mission parish they are personally helping.

The benefits of this program go far beyond the mission parish and its parishioners you are helping. Students will experience a deepening of their own faith and feel the joy of sharing that faith with their brothers and sisters in the American missions.

Participation

Middle school and high school grades are encouraged to participate. The entire religious education program can get involved or just a particular grade or class. The program is especially effective as a Confirmation service project.

You decide the type, duration and extent of support, whether it be a one-time gift or ongoing relationship.
